Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) is an opportunistic infection affecting the central nervous system of individuals with advanced HIV. It is caused by the human polyoma virus JC virus. Dr. Aley Kalapila discusses evaluation and management of PML for people with HIV.
