Initial Impressions of the McMillan U1 Stock

After taking my first shots with the McMillan U1, I was immediately impressed. The photos on the website don’t fully capture the quality and feel of this stock. In person, it feels exceptionally comfortable and more customized compared to other stocks I’ve used.

The McMillan U1 stands out as a strong competitor to many of the popular stocks and chassis systems currently available. What impressed me most was the way it handled recoil. The recoil felt denser, yet more consistent, which made it easier to predict and control shot to shot movement. This consistency, combined with the stock’s ergonomic design, made shooting feel both stable and comfortable.
