Danmachi Twilight Saga: OST 39: Her prayers / ダンまち OST (Fanmade)

One night, before Bell returned to the Twilight Manor, he found Alfia sitting on one of the chairs of the abandoned church

Bell sits next to her, and after a solid moment of silence, he speaks.

"Even after being abandoned, this place still has a certain beauty, right?"

Alfia chuckles.
-"Yes, it sure is beautiful," she responded. "You know, I didn't stay here just to take advantage of the goddess Hestia's hospitality. I originally brought you here because I wanted you to see this place." She spoke with a softer, more welcoming voice than usual, Bell saw her in this mood a couple of times, so, he was just a little bit surprised.
-"O-oh, thank you... is this a place you liked back when you lived here?"
-"Not exactly, this is a place my sister, your... real mother, was very fond of, we visited this place countless times just because of her."
-"I see..."

Bell couldn't say much after the sudden mention of his real mother.
Bell tried to not ask much about her when growing up, so, the knowledge he had of her was from when Alfia decided to talk about her by her own will.
He wanted to ask more, but he wasn't sure of how good idea it was, so, he tried to lead the conversation to something else.

-"So...are you praying to a specific god?"
-"No"
-"Oh"

-"I'm...trying to connect with her, I thought that, If there's a connection between our souls here on the Lower World and those up there, perhaps I can manage talk to her here."

Bell was actually surprised this time, he hasn't pictured Alfia as someone that could act on pure beliefs, everytime she did something, she had an objective reason to take action, but she never did something like this.

-"Oh... so, am I interrupting?
-"hm. No" Alfia chuckled again "I think you helped me today"
-"Eh?"
-"You're very much like her, when I heard your voice, I heard hers for a moment"

Bell felt like he was in a dream, he had good memories with Alfia before but this was different, he felt like she was more in peace, maybe because she could return to this place.
He never saw her like this, it felt unreal, but, It made him happy.
