Another state park walk shortly after snowfall. Mostly virgin snow. No wipeout this time. Jackie towing me along, as usual. Some of you will find this a bit ASMR.
Wells State Park in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The trails were revealed by the snow, because of all the footprints of people who got there before me. If not for that, I might not have ventured up certain paths because I am not as familiar with this park as others. Walked it twice before, but definitely no expert here.
And it was the first time I noticed warnings that this was "bear country." They probably had the postings up before but I had never noticed them until this walk. Made me a bit skittish whenever I heard certain twigs breaking in the distance. Yes, I'm certain they are all still hibernating, but I still checked the snow trail regularly for paw prints.... couldn't help it.
