Overcome Failure Learning a Language: Mastermind Episode 15

In this video series, I want to talk about language learning, my progress, your progress, and build a community around learning languages.

Learning a language can be difficult and it can take a while to get to a high skill level. In my opinion, I think it can be a great idea to incorporate others into your process and try to be social in your language learning. Moreover, finding groups, resources, and other ideas to keep you motivated and immersed in the process of learning a language can also be beneficial. Hopefully, these videos will give you some of that moving forward.

This week I talk about overcoming failure when learning a language. When you learn a foreign language, you are likely to face quite a bit of failure. I think one of the keys to dealing with it is to set your expectations up ahead of time and to take a step back and control your mindset. If you can change your mindset about failure and reframe it, I think it can help you overall to have more fun and make more progress in your language over the long term.
