Apparently in Need For Speed Payback, there is an off-road spec version of the Koenigsegg Regera complete with off-road physics and conversion. So here is the performance of a LV399 off-road spec Koenigsegg Regera in 3 off-road events.

So in NFS Payback, when you buy an off-road spec car, it automatically converts to a 4WD car, whethers it's FWD or RWD. So the Regera is no different, it becomes 4WD when it converts to off-road spec. However it is an extremely front bias 4WD, with 80% power to the front and only 20% to the rear. I will describe the consequences of such high front bias 4WD below.

Performance review of the off-road spec Regera if it were to release:
Overpowered. First, it has the highest top speed cap off-road compared to the Bel Air Superbuild which is currently the best off-road spec in the game, both top speed and handling. But the main reason why it's OP is that it does not lose a lot of speed when you go off the dirt trail. In most off-road events, you typically either maintain on the dirt road but it's a longer path, or cut through off the dirt trail which is the shortest path but you will be slowed down. This off-path does barely slows down the Regera. And typically, off-road performance highly depends on the top speed cap both on and off trail which the Regera has too much of it.

Of course, it still has handling issues but it was probably done on purpose. Majority of the off-road spec cars are very oversteer happy. With such high front bias power, the Regera is more of an understeer type car which makes it much easier to control. Of course, the car will understeer heavily once the front tires spin too much, but you can keep it under control via braking. Also brake drift makes the car turn sharply too since it's steering depends on the front tire's wheelspin amount.

Ghost/EA probably didn't want to put the Regera off-road but this is an arcade game and it should be an escape from reality. Sometimes it's all about having fun and there shouldn't be some arbitrary class system to prevent this.

What you guys think? Should Ghost Game unleashed this Cancer to off-road spec too? (With nerfs and tweaks of course).
