The permeability (magnetic conductivity) of a material is essential for many applications. For example, the fatigue state of nickel-based steels can be monitored in high-temperature applications, or the permeability of components for an electric motor can be checked. In today's video, we look at the principle of measuring smallest permeabilities (µr 1.0000 – 2.0000) in theory and practice.
