Surviving Acute Myeloid Leukemia Through a Blood Stem Cell Transplant

After 20 years of successfully managing a blood disorder, it seemed like Debbie's condition was under control. But when she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), her doctors quickly started her on chemotherapy and determined she'd need a blood stem cell transplant. Thankfully, even through challenging isolation due to COVID-19, Debbie's healthy again because of the selfless act of a donor.
