Phew, Summer ATP is coming in a few days and I spent almost this week break compressing all things I recorded in 4K 60fps, bigger deal was that my computer was having Slow Internet that made me TOO exhausted to use it! GhostRider is the longest, tallest, and fastest wooden roller coaster on the West Coast! Looming 118 feet over historic Ghost Town, GhostRider is the largest attraction at Knott’s Berry Farm and one of the longest and tallest wooden roller coasters in the world. Brave riders enter a mysterious mine and board gold, silver or copper mining car before being sent galloping along over 4,500 feet of twisting timber. The massive roller coaster includes 14 hills providing tons of air time throughout the nearly three minute journey. For the ultimate thrill, take a ride at night when every twist and turn is hidden in darkness.



The ride was formerly manufactured by the defunct Custom Coasters International. Construction on the attraction proceeded so quickly that the coaster was completed and opened on December 8, 1998, nearly six months ahead of schedule. In August 1999, an unsecured piece of wood from the track was lifted by a passing train and thrown into another car that was passing below. Five people sustained minor injuries and the attraction was temporarily closed for inspection and retrofitting of the track.
