To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect food wise, when I visited Tranquil Resort in Wayanad. I had last visited the property over a decade ago and I didn’t remember much of what I ate back then. However, in the three days that I spent here, every meal was a highlight, every dish special. Across a wide spectrum of cuisines, the vegetarian preparations too were as noteworthy as the non vegetarian, not something that one usually finds. I think what contributes to the appeal of the culinary experience here is the fact that the family and chefs running this plantation resort have been around for the last 25 years of its existence.
