How To Fix Sharp Fret Ends On A Ukulele - Easy Method

A school ukulele had developed a little fret sprout due to being left in a very small, warm room with a very dry humidity level for a whole year! It was still playable but I didn't want anyone getting sore fingers so had a go at a different method of fixing the rough frets.

The frets weren't too bad so I tried using a fret crowning stone and the results are great and no damage to the wood of the neck or fingerboard.

I have fixed the frets on more expensive ukes and take a bit more time by removing the strings and using masking tape to offer more protection to the ukulele body and neck.
