We begin with the divine Nandi, struck by Aurangzeb’s sword — a scar that remains to this day. But when he tried to desecrate the Śiva Liṅga, a swarm of bees emerged from Nandi’s ear, forcing his army to flee. A leela that reminds us — you cannot touch that which is protected by Devatās themselves.

The origins of the Śiva Liṅga here trace back to Rishi Mandhātā, an ancient Maharṣi whose tapasyā brought forth this liṅga into the earthly realm.

We take you through the daily āratīs and pūjās, offering a window into the living tradition of worship that continues unbroken to this day.
