In this video we show how to plant fruit trees and make sure that aren't planted too deep. Trees that are planted too deep are less likely to be healthy because their roots struggle to get enough oxygen. Over 70% of trees are planted too deep (from Ellen A. Vincent of Clemson University - link below). To avoid this common mistake we show in detail how to find the root flare aka root collar and make sure it lines up with the planting height. We also give other tips for where and how to plant trees.
