Chinese Navy Conducts Live Ammunition Drills in East China Sea

The Chinese Navy carried out a live-ammunition confrontation drill in the East China Sea on Thursday, involving more than 100 warships and dozens of aircraft.

The drill, led by the East China Sea Fleet, brought together forces from the North China Sea Fleet, South China Sea Fleet and the Air Force and involved shore-based missiles, surface ships, aircraft and submarines.

The shore-to-ship missiles, anti-ship missiles and ship-to-air missiles fired in this drill will also be showcased in the military parade on September 3 to mark the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.
