Ep 10 Exploring Vijayawada | Undavalli Caves | Kanak Durga Temple | Babai Hotel | Andhra Pradesh

Vijayawada is about 345 km away from Visakhapatnam & 275 km from Hyderabad. We spent about one and a half day exploring Vijayawada and got chance to visit amazing sightseeing attractions of the city and also food exploration at famous restaurants.

This video was shot on 20th Jan 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day.

Babai Hotel in Gandhi Nagar - We started our day having breakfast in this restaurant, 5 years ago when I had visited Hyderabad, first time tasted Babai Idly then only I had decided, whenever I would visit Babai Hotel in vijayawada, I would try that there as well.

Outside Babai Hotel, we also tried the Babai coffee - Filter coffee, which was the best in my entire andhra tour.

Kanak Temple - This temple is dedicated to Goddesses Durga, the Deity inside the sanctum is swayambhu. Kanak Durga temple is a very famous temple of Vijayawada.

Sri Ramaiah Mess And Caterers - We had the meal - Rs 250 veg thali, enjoyed the meal at this restaurant.

Undavalli Caves - 9km from Vijayawada, 6th century caves are carved in beautiful way, this is the finest example of rock cut architecture. In the cave we saw rock cut sculptures of many gods & goddesses.

Swagruhu Foods - One of the famous shops in vijayawada for sweets, savouries & pickles.

Eat Street - Local market in vijayawada, where about 100 to 150 street vendors during night time serves different varieties of food. We tried Delhi ka falooda - Rs 100 from A1 Quality Falooda.

Night food market at Vijayawada starts at 9 pm and continues till 11 pm, earlier it was till 2 am.
