How to Install a Kerr Sling

I've gotten requests from quite a few folks on Facebook that wanted to know how to install the Kerr Sling on a Thompson. So, we took the time while at the range to put together a little tutorial.
Keep in mind, there are several different ways that these slings were installed. I used a few World War II era photographs for reference while learning how to install the Kerr Sling. Being military myself, it's easy to understand that even though there are standards on most things, we often just do whatever works and try to configure things in ways that they are usable or have an ease of use to the operator. With that being said, there is no right or wrong way to install the Kerr Sling as you'll see several variations on the internet through Google searches. This is simply one of the many ways and the way I consider to be correct based on the many pictures I've seen.
