After a 2 year break due to the Covid-19 restrictions Talisay City's annual Halad Inasal festival made it's welcome return for 2022.
Halad-Inasal is a thanksgiving Festival which pays homage to their patron saint, Sta. Teresa de Avila. Focus of the festivities also surround the celebration of the famous delicacy of the region, roasted pig known as Lechon Baboy. Talisay is very well known for producing some of the tastiest Lechon available. This favourite dish is normally served amid festivities such as graduations, birthday celebrations, weddings and parties.
In a culmination of the festival a spectacular vibrant street dance festival takes place commencing from the City Hall along the Cebu South coastal road whereby contingent groups perform their unique choreographed dance routines.
