Karen woke up one morning and fell to her knees, stricken with pain. Her doctors diagnosed a pinched nerve and proposed myriad invasive treatments. But Karen was resolute. She was going to find another way. She’d already registered for a retreat with Dr Joe – and was not going to miss it.
