Math Tutoring at the Learning Center at Lakeland

If you haven't used the learning center yet, you should know about all the great, free resources available here to help you through your math courses. We have different options you can choose from to fit your needs. For instance, you can choose an individual tutoring appointment with a professional tutor, like me. Each appointment is 30 minutes and gives us an opportunity to work through your questions and challenges in more depth. You can schedule the tutoring appointment to meet in-person on campus, or to meet virtually through WebEx.

Or, for quick questions, you can drop in to use the math in minutes table. No appointment is needed and you will receive help from a peer tutor.

We also offer another kind of math tutoring called study tables. You can come to them as often as you like, no need to sign up. Math study tables are available for students in various groups across campus, such as the Women's Center Math group, and the Veteran's Math group. And we just added study tables for students taking Statistics or College Algebra are available. Each group meets either in-person on campus or virtually through Webex. This way, you can decide what option works best for your schedule.
