THE annual BTR Liverpool Santa Dash was held on 1 December 2024. This time, over 8,500 people of all ages participated in this world-famous event, which regularly breaks World Records and is still the biggest festive fun run in the UK.
The Liverpool Santa Dash was the first of its type in the UK to run in the build-up to Christmas. It has resulted in many other Cities and Towns throughout the UK and worldwide copying it, but there is only one Liverpool Santa Dash!
The event is held to raise cash for charity and to build up the festive spirit within the area. Oddly, despite being world-renowned, the national and even most regional press do not seem to like publicizing it in the UK. Yet, thanks to international coverage and its growing popularity within the running community this event keeps growing year on year, with some runners coming from as far as Australia!
