Reggie and the Full Effect - Last Stop: Crappy Town (with previously unreleased tracks)

First of all, with the 3 tracks put back in the record is now an opus again. It’s a 50 minute piece of continuous music with reoccurring themes and tells a very dark story about where I was in 2006.  Now 14 years later this record seems to make way more sense musically and lyrically. This was done in 13 days. @seanbeavan produced and engineered paul gray (#2) of slipknot was introduced to me by billy Johnson the drummer of Reggie. And the 3 of us hot messes commenced rehearsing these songs in a basement for a month in Kansas City. We honestly spent more time riding in Paul’s sick ass Mercedes and having way too much fun to the point none of us would show up some days. This record means sooooo much to me because it documents not only my darkest place but it also celebrates 2 of the most amazing people I have ever known. 2 of the kindest souls who could flip a switch or put on a mask and just slay the living shit out of music and life. I miss them so much and listening to this today brought me to tears because both of them are gone and they only made the world a better place.  Paul met his wife Brenna when we did this. Cory from coalesce/esoteric and Stevie Cruz stayed with us at the Oakwoods and I got Cory to play Guitar on the whole thing and got Stevie to scream on L. I really hope when you listen you understand what we did here. It is very different as a reggie record. And honestly I wouldn’t even call it a record because it never stops for 50 minutes so it’s more of a movement. That we wrote 14 years too early. Love to everyone. Please take care of each other because this is the only time we got here so make it count.
