Fermented porridge is very popular in Kenya.In this video we show you how to make Traditional Kenyan Porridge from the Meru and Embu Community.It is also called Ucuru wa Mukio,Ucuru wa gukia
It is made with
Pixel Millet
Sorghum
Wimbi
Maize
Amaranth flour
When mixed with moringa this porridge increases breast milk
to make it buy the paste.
Shake the paste
Measure the paste ratio is 1:1 to water so if making 1 litre measure 1 litre of water
Bring the water to a boil
Add the paste and stir with a wooden spoon till it starts to boil
Cook for 5 minutes and serve
You can enrich it with moringa,chia seeds,baobab
