Green Jade Table – Lantern Festival Night

The eastern wind wakes trees in bloom,
Ten thousand lights pierce through the gloom.
Then scatter petals—stars in flight,
As steeds and chariots perfume the night.
Phoenix flutes rise, jade lamps spin bright,
A thousand fish and dragons dance in light.

Snowflakes, gold threads in her hair,
She laughs and drifts with scented air.
Through countless crowds I sought her face,
At last, I turned—she stood in place,
Where lanterns fade with tender grace.
