Efteling Is Converting Their Steam Engines To Battery Power...

After 55 years, the Efteling made their intentions to quench the fire from their steam engines clear. The theme park is undertaking actions with narrow gauge specialists Alan Keef ltd to convert the locomotives into battery-electric vehicles. The two 100+ year old and singular 1991 locomotives will, according to the Efteling, retain their outline but undergo a change of traction. As per usual, the conversation has been well and truly poisoned by people who have not looked at the bigger picture.
