Two great flugels compared, and a Puje and Cornet with hhuuggee mouthpieces tossed in for the sound comparison as well. :) Really, the Yamaha 631G is a classic; one of the most loved and sought after horns in brass history. Fear not, however; the Jupiter 846R is a very similar playing horn. NOTE: I mentioned in this vid that the bore of the Jupiter is .433; I've read this several places. I also mention that the receiver/entry piece on the Jupiter is smaller; I've recently read that the bore of the Jupiter is .413. They're no longer manufactured, but still available as resale instruments. As such, I don't see any info on the Jupiter site. Maybe more later on this... Meanwhile, enjoy! :)
