On a clear winter's day on Tuesday 23rd June 2020, we headed south and captured KiwiRail operations along the Southern portion of the South Island Main Trunk, firstly on the Canterbury Plains, then over the hills of North Otago looking over some spectacular ocean scenery. Our main focus of this production is freight train no. 937, heading from Christchurch's Middleton yard to Dunedin which we catch up with south of Oamaru, whist following it we caught up with other north-bound freight trains on the Main South Line, enjoy!
