Jose Benjamín Cruz Rodríguez, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist who treats patients with advanced heart failure, including those who need mechanical circulatory support or heart transplantation.
He treats cardiomyopathies (diseases that affect the heart muscle). He seeks to understand the whole patient and is interested in the epidemiology of heart failure and finding racial and ethnic disparities in access to care.
