Archival footage shot by an amateur filmmaker while visiting Finland in 1981.

It contains stock footage of Helsinki: views of the cityscape from a ship approaching the port (the Cathedral, Palace Hotel, Uspenski Cathedral - Uspenskin katedraali, Viking Line and Silja Line liners docking), views from a boat trip (Submarine Vesikko on the island of Suomenlinna, King’s Gate - Kuninkaanportti), Sibelius Monument at Sibelius Park, interiors of Temppeliaukio Church (Temppeliaukion kirkko), guards marching downtown, traffic in front of Helsinki Cathedral, police patrolling the port, cargo ships and liners docking at the port, cars and buses embarking onto a ship, Ryssänsaari island and Suomenlinna fortress islands in the background, and more.
