Shame shaped my entire life.
At 10, I wet my pants in front of 40 classmates, and that moment taught me the world could be cruel and I had no tools to handle it.
So I built a mask. I fought, smoked and got arrested twice before I turned 17.
I buried my identity as a gender-fluid, pansexual person because everything around me said it was wrong.
The mask almost destroyed me.
In this talk at VaynerMedia APAC, I share the 10 chapters of my life, from that classroom in Singapore to Boys' Home, from almost going to prison to coming out on LinkedIn, from hiding for 20 years to becoming the parent my neurodiverse daughter needs.
