ABOUT PROJECT:
Traditional firewall often fall short in detection all types of network attack so we are developing global centralized network traffic inspection based firewall which can analyse any type of network traffic to identify malicious activities.
To analyse network traffic we are utilizing wireshark API which can capture live network data or can capture network data from PCAP files. In propose work we are scanning PCAP files to detect malicious activities. Capturing from live network data may not guarantee weather malicious packets may arrived or not so we are working with PCAP files.
After scanning PCAP file application will generate Reports with different malicious activities happening from different IP and Port no.
To implement this project we have designed following modules
1) New User sign up: user can sign up with the application
2) User Login: user can login to system
3) Analyse Network Traffic: user can upload network traffic data file and then system will scan all packets to detect malicious activities and then generate details reports on different attacks happened from different IP and PORT.
