What can be said about this car that has not been said before? The Cord 810 is stunning, plain and simple. The hidden headlights are perfect, the wheels are perfect the coffin nose grill is perfect. And what a treat it is to see one driving down the road. This car seems to shift nicely and it sounds great!

"This 1936 Cord 810 Westchester was purchased by the current owner from its previous owner of 29 years out of Ohio in 2012 and is powered by a replacement 289ci Lycoming V8 that drives the front wheels through a front-mounted, vacuum-operated four-speed preselector transaxle. The car is finished in black over tan wool broadcloth upholstery and features four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, an independent front suspension, pop-up headlights, a flat-back trunk, and an AM radio. This 810 Westchester is now offered on dealer consignment with ACD Club certification and a clean Indiana title.

The Cord 810/812 was introduced in late 1935 and was produced for two years before the Auburn Automobile Company ceased manufacture of the Cord marque. Gordon Buehrig-penned styling includes a “coffin-nose” front profile with a louvered wraparound grille, a rear-hinged hood, hideaway headlights raised via dash-mounted hand cranks, concealed door hinges, and a split windshield."
