Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris | CDG Paris — Also known as Roissy Airport or simply Paris CDG, Charles de Gaulle Airport Paris is the main international airport serving Paris, France. Opened in 1974, it is located in Roissy-en-France, 23 km (14 mi) northeast of Paris. Named after World War II statesman Charles de Gaulle (1890–1970), its IATA airport code is CDG.
Charles de Gaulle Airport is the primary hub for Air France and a key destination for several major airlines, including those from Star Alliance, Oneworld, and SkyTeam, as well as a focus city for easyJet. Operated by Groupe ADP (Aéroports de Paris) under the brand Paris Aéroport, this iconic airport spans 32.38 sq. km (12.50 sq mi) and features three terminals.
