The Magnatone Model 108 "Varsity" amplifier is a vintage, tube-powered combo amp from the 1950s, typically featuring an 8-inch speaker, 1 or 2-band EQ, an 8-watt output, and a 12AX7 preamp tube. It uses a 6V6 power tube and a 5Y3 rectifier. This compact amp is known for producing a full, overdriven tone similar to a tweed Fender Champ and is considered excellent for recording, though it struggles to clean up with humbucker guitars.
Needs a new handle.
