For this limited special bottling, the classic Isle of Raasay single malt was bottled at a cask strength of 61.3% vol. It was produced according to the cask recipe of the island distillers from peated and unpeated raw spirits, which matured separately on the Raasay coast in three different types of cask: First Fill Rye Whiskey Casks, Virgin Chinkapin Oak Casks and First Fill Bordeaux Red Wine Casks.
The first legal whisky distillery on the Hebridean island of Raasay is opening a powerful new chapter: With the Isle of Raasay Cask Strength Release 2024, the coastal distillery presents its strongest single malt to date.
