This is a brassica food plot prep video. I am using the Jeff Sturgis no till buckwheat method this year in my main 2 brassica plots. Although 1 plot will be no till planting into standing rye and then crushed. I plot will be tilled up and planted. Both plots will be no tilled when planted into brassica. I am comparing what buckwheat planting method gets the most growth and a thicker stand to then crush over the brassica seed.
The no till buckwheat in the thick rye thatch layer struggled and was quite thin and a lot shorter than the tilled section of buckwheat where it grew much denser and taller.
