How can I support my addicted loved one when I'm filled with Anger Hurt and Resentment?

How do I get over the resentment, the horrid incidents when I was rejected and humiliated and deeply hurt by my addicted husband. I want to do my best but there is this dark patch of pain and fear, how am I supposed to reconcile the past with the invisible intervention?

Viewer Question: How do I master the willpower to tell myself that what had happened does not matter that only moving forward matters, that this is truly what I want. I guess (like you said) it is not fair, it will never be fair, but maybe it will become bearable, better, and maybe as a family, we will be able to move forward if there is some improvement.
