Scuba-Dive with independent twins or a manifold?

The truth about diving with an independent twinset. Do you need a manifold to be safe? I have been diving with an independent twinset now for about 40 dives and I’ll let you know how I got on!
"Independent twin cylinders" for scuba divers refers to two separate scuba tanks worn together, where each tank has its own regulator and valve, meaning they are not connected by a manifold and are considered completely independent from one another, unlike a standard "twinset" which allows the diver to breathe from both tanks simultaneously through a single manifold, providing redundancy but limiting flexibility in certain situations; essentially, with independent twins, you must actively switch between tanks to breathe from each one individually. #talkingscuba #grandpanitrox
