My mom, aunt and I spent 16 days in Sri Lanka with 13 of those days on a roadtrip around the country. We started in Negombo at my favorite accommodation- the Regal Reseau in Negombo and enjoyed many free breakfast (the best) with the view of the Indian Ocean. We traveled to Sigirya for the Dambulla Cave Temples and Sigiriya Rock. Then headed to Kandy where we enjoyed the city and tried our first vegetable roti. We visited many Damro tea plantation in Nuwara Eliya and stayed at the prettiest loft overlooking the mountains. Then took the infamous open door trains from Nana Oya to Ella. In Ella we enjoyed the nature and visited Nine Arch Bridge before heading back to Negombo to wrap up our trip. A trip filled with endless memories and lots of curry and rice, vegetable roti, kottu, deviled chicken, hoppers and lamprias
