Today, I'll be exploring the heritage town of Taal, Batangas.
We spent a half-day exploring the beautiful ancestral homes and tasting the famous cuisine of the province. So join me as we go on a culinary journey through history. Have fun and happy watching!

How to go to Taal Batangas

By Bus
From PITX, You can take the JAM Liner bus to LEMERY.
The schedule is as follows:
PITX – Lemery 6:15 AM – 5:00 PM (every 1.5hours)

From Buendia, buses run from 4 AM until 8 PM, and the fare each way is 200+. Be sure to tell the driver that you are heading to Taal so he can drop you off at Flying V Gas station, where you can catch jeepneys or tricycles going to the heritage town. Travel time is around 2 hours or more, depending on the traffic.

RECO:
Try Sinaing na tulingan in any Carinderia inside the market. They sell local dishes from fish, tapang taal, and vegetables.

Empanada (Gulay) from Bong and Wenna's Eatery is also a must try!

You can easily find it in stalls near the pasalubong section.

But if you want a fancier version of local foods, you can check out other restaurants near the market.
