Installing a Hardwire EV Charger Myself [Maxoak]

A hardwired EV charger allows you to go higher in amps which translates into faster charging. Sometimes you just want it to charge as fast as possible when you get back from a trip and you and something else to do back to back. Not that for hardwired installations, you still need an electrician to help you install the wiring to a box. Even connecting it to the box requires some precautions and knowledge of electrical hazards. Complete at your own risk!

That said, this is a great home EV charger that does what it says it will do, which is to charge continuously. My Tesla was only able to charge at up to 48A but this is not a limitation of the charger but that of the car.
