In this week’s exploration, we step deep into the Great Mid Wales Mine and uncover one of the most incredible sights we've ever seen — a genuine coffin level, untouched and frozen in time.

Crawling through the ancient workings, we were left speechless by the atmosphere and scale of what the miners endured. The size of these tunnels — the history carved into the walls — it’s a powerful reminder of the lives once spent underground in total darkness.

It felt like a privilege to walk where 19th-century miners once toiled, and we're honoured to share this part of Welsh mining heritage with you.
