*The Composer (1882-1964) was Director of the Royal Canadian Garryson Artillery Band in Quebec City and from 1924 Director of Music of the 22nd Regiment Band.
Under is leadership the Band became a World Class Organization performing throughout Canada and USA.
He added to his laurels a Doctorate of Music in 1924. He Wrote several Marches for Band including the RCMP March Past and the March the Emblem.
His March "Mon Ami" remains one of the most popular Marches Even Written in Canada.
