Join us on our next vanlife adventure across Belgium as we leave the magical grounds of Tomorrowland in Boom and head towards Mechelen, Jess chose this leg stretch location, saying it was a town!
🏙️ What I didn’t realise until I got closer was that Mechelen is actually a busy Belgian city — and city driving is not my favourite thing! 😅 I managed to find a peaceful park-up by the river on the outskirts, perfect for a stroll into the historic centre.
The architecture was stunning, full of Belgian history and charm, and we even stopped for a quick snack before the chaos of trying to escape the ring road… I may have driven through a bus lane (oops!) but we made it out safely and continued our van journey towards Heure.
Life on the road is never dull! 🚐🐾
