Journey to Another Galaxy by Tony Gunning (1994)

Tony Gunning emerged from the 1980s having spent most of the decade in introspection. In the early 1990s, Gunning joined the Electronical Dreams collective.  His 1990 recording Love Magic marked his formal arrival within the group - warm, deliberate, and assured.

Gunnning's thoughts, however, did not linger in the Patchoulilight. They were drawn elsewhere, toward the Offworld Colony where so many denizens of the Glimmerlight had fled, carrying with them the light he felt still unfinished. Guided by his Blue Crystal and calibrated through his Serenity Stones, Gunning devised a method of passage to the Offworld Colony. The journey had a sonic component - not for propulsion, but rather for orientation. To that end, in 1994, Gunning recorded Journey to Another Galaxy.  Within Sagegazer teaching, the work was understood as proof that exile was not final.
