With Microsoft and 343's Halo Infinite releasing later this year on the Xbox Series X I think the topic of community features and player investment is incredibly relevant and important. There is a lot of hype and real opportunity to rebuild Halo in to a true contender for the fps crown. This video will discuss the concept of designing a community through the influence of in game systems. It will talk about the influence of microtransactions, the power of a compelling reward system including cosmetic unlocks via achievements, community tools such as forge and theater, along with how a lot of these components are connected.
