Our spring 2025 series of FGF User Group talks continues with Prof. Jessica Vold from North Dakota State University! Prof. Vold will speak about the use of additive manufacturing technology to meet the challenges of establishing and sustaining a long-term human presence on the surface of the Moon and Mars. How can we ensure those living in extraterrestrial environments can extract the necessities of life from available resources? Prof. Vold's team is exploring the addition of various regolith simulants to commercially available polymers, printing these novel materials on a re:3D Terabot X.
