Almost Died for This View! Mt Rushmore South Dakota

So, we decided to take on the Presidential Trail at Mt. Rushmore… and let me just say, those 422 stairs nearly ended me. I’m pretty sure George Washington was looking down, shaking his head like, “Really? It’s just a few steps.” Meanwhile, I was over here gasping for air like I had just summited Everest.

But Nathan was right—surviving the trail was worth it. When the lights flicked on and Mt. Rushmore glowed against the night sky, it was absolutely spectacular. Between the history, the views, and my near-death stair experience, it was definitely a night to remember!
