A quick video showing basic shaping at the disc. Aside from a little cutting it is essentially real time. The block is fresh from the lathe having been drilled and the shank rough turned and the top of the bowl turned and sanded. Shaping starts with a 40grit disc, then a worn 80grit for refining followed by a 180grit soft padded disc to smooth the curves,
