When building a lean and muscular physique is the goal, we don’t just need fat loss phases, but we also require periods in which we focus on building up more muscle. This is where the concept of “Bulking” comes into play. And in this video specifically, we will look into Lean Bulking.
I never was a fan of the aggressive bulking approaches that you would see online since this often involved gaining weight quite quickly and then also losing your level of leanness. If we look at the goal of most people, we are not trying to be bodybuilders. But simply build quality muscle mass, while maintaining a lean and healthy body fat percentage.
During a Lean Bulking process, we can work on building up more muscle, without making your body percentage go up excessively. In fact, I recently transitioned into a Lean Bulking process myself to further enhance my strength and muscle gain.
