Organ Voluntaries: Excerpts from Tchaikovsky's 'The Nutcracker' & Sleigh Ride (Leroy Anderson)

Recorded in Cheltenham College Chapel
on Monday 7 December and Tuesday 8 December
with excerpts from the live 6th Form Carol Service
on Wednesday 9 December 2020.

The service includes choirs from
Cheltenham Prep School and
the Third Form, Fourth Form, Fifth Form and Sixth Form
of Cheltenham College; all singing within their year group bubbles.
It also contains two verses sung by the
Cheltenham College Virtual Choir, which was the closest
we could get to congregational singing this year.

The service also pays particular tribute to John Rutter in the year of his 75th birthday.


There is an extended organ voluntary section at the end performed by
Alexander Ffinch, featuring movements from
The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky
